First, seed the watermelon, if necessary, and cut into small triangles with the peel.
Insert a wooden stick in the bottom of each piece with the peel. If the peel is too firm, pre-cut a slit with a knife.
Place the watermelon wedges in the freezer until completely frozen.
The watermelon on a stick is ready. You can also dip them in yogurt or chocolate.
Preparation Tip:
Ice cold watermelon on a stick is a low-calorie snack for hot days. Freezing makes the melon less sweet, so be sure to use ripe, sweet melons for this.
