The berries – in case that necessary – pluck and rinse. Cut large specimens in half.

Mix the berries in a baking bowl with the sugar and brandy and steep for 20 min. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Mix the yolks with the fresh cream. Butter a gratin dish or a large baking dish and fill with the berries. Spread the egg cream evenly on top and gratinate in the heated oven for 10-12 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
